 
HHX - The Hoop Hall Experience is a self-paced interactive experience that includes seven distinct zones. You are
in control -- stopping at the things that grab your attention, and moving on when you are ready. The HHX Experience
can be completed as quickly as 90 minutes, but expect to take over 2 hours to fully experience all
the show has to offer.
Bounce
A pulsing beat surrounds you in the exciting Pre-Game queuing area…you pass through giant letters, a massive HHX marquee, and into the first of a series of themed environments. Music explodes as you step into an abstract space of light and sound…a 2-minute show called “Bounce” plays, featuring funky, infectious hip-hop music combined with quick-cut video centering around the game’s icon, the Basketball.
Timeline
Enter a “voyage of discovery” through the history of basketball. An engaging arrangement of graphics, text, large cutouts, electronic media, photos and artifacts fill the space and show the evolution of basketball.
Starting with a video of the story of Dr. James Naismith inventing the game, twists and turns in the path present you with a series of stories highlighting key events and people in the history of basketball.
Dramatic lighting and a pulsing audio track underscore this exciting passage through time and space.
Pep Talks
Here you encounter 12 of the greatest coaches of basketball. Multi-media projection displays use actual sound bites
and dramatized readings to deliver real messages from famous coaches like John Wooden, Bill Sharman, and Lenny Wilkens.
Be inspired by their knowledge, opinions, and philosophies as they coach you on how the lessons of basketball mirror the lessons of Life.
Greatest Moments Theater
Here you see the most significant artifacts from the Basketball Hall of Fame --
the most important artifacts with momentous stories to tell. Experience the magic again with movie clips from the key games, including when Wilt scored 100 points in a single NBA game.
Test your basketball knowledge at the Wall of Fame, which includes a display of every inductee into the Hall of Fame.
Big Shots
Now showing in the Big Shots Theater: a large format film entitled “Big Shots”, a narrated, multi-media journey
of the game’s greatest hits and the most spectacular moments in basketball history.
While waiting for your turn in the theater, try your hand at a range of interactive games and features. You can even
capture yourself on DVD announcing the play-by-play for famous games in one of the interactive video announcer booths.
The Cage
After the movie, it's back to hands-on fun. "The Cage" is the real deal: a full-size, wood-floor basketball court
lined with basketball skills games that put the ball in your hand. Dribbling, Passing, Rebound -- all are challenge games that let you show your skills. Depending on
the day, we may also hold exhibition games, basketball star autograph signings, or other special events in the full court area.
Circle of Steel
Exit the full-court play area into an exciting themed retail space where you can find great deals on basketball-related merchandise you won't find anywhere else. From jerseys featuring your favorite Hall of Famers to collectibles available only through the Hall of Fame, you're sure to find a memento to take home with you.
